Hamann “Challenge” update for the Macan!

We once again hit the mark with our exclusive designer wheel rim “Challenge”, which has been available for the Mercedes-Benz GLE only so far: the extremely light, yet durable monoblock rim by the premium tuner now is also available for the Porsche Macan. The 22-inch “Challenge” convinces by a filigree but powerful double-spoke design.

Elegantly and narrowly running out at the rim flange and thus opening up the view to the brake callipers behind, the seven deep-drawn double spokes with distinctive form have a particularly strong visual impact. This emphasises the special athletic touch and the 22-inch wheel appears even greater and more imposing. The Hamann logo embossed in the wheel’s edge guarantees the high-quality rim’s exclusivity and originality. The precious highlight: the aluminium hub cap that carries the Hamann hallmark – an engraved “Pegasus”.

But not only the visual appeal of the “Challenge” rim sets standards: thanks to the TÜV-certified flow forming manufacturing process it ranks among the most advanced light-alloy wheels. In this process, the rim blank is rolled out again to increase the density and strength of the aluminium alloy and to reduce the weight by ten per cent compared to conventional cast wheel rims. At the same time, the rim well becomes as hard as of a real forged wheel.

The priming powder coating ensures a permanent corrosion resistance. The silky finish – applied using the wet-in-wet technique – is offered in “Hyper Silver” and “Black Line” colours. However, as typical for Hamann Motorsport, there are special colours that will meet individual customer wishes. Integrated position points allow for an easy wheel alignment.

Hamann Motorsport provides “Challenge” in the size 10.0 x 22 inches with offsets of 50 millimetres. Hamann offers the 10-inch version with high-performance tyres sized 295/30 R22.
